Privacy Policy
MTechCore is a private home lab, automation, and infrastructure project operated by Ahmed Marafie. This Privacy Policy explains how MTechCore handles information across its public website, private home lab tools, internal automation workflows, contact channels, operational logs, and optional third-party API integrations.
1. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to:
- The MTechCore website and related public pages.
- Contact sent to MTechCore by email, forms, or linked communication channels.
- Private/internal automation operated by the project owner.
- Operational logs and security records generated while running and protecting the site or related systems.
- Authorized integrations with third-party APIs when enabled by the project owner.
2. Information we may collect
Website visitor information
When someone visits the website, standard technical information may be processed automatically, such as requested page, date and time, browser type, device type, approximate network information, referrer, and basic request metadata. This is used for security, troubleshooting, and reliability.
Contact information
If you contact MTechCore, we may process the information you provide, such as your name, email address, message content, and any files or context you choose to send.
Operational and security information
MTechCore may keep limited operational records needed to maintain the website and private home lab systems, such as uptime events, error logs, access logs, configuration notes, incident notes, and audit-style records of changes.
Private automation data
Private automation workflows may process data intentionally supplied or authorized by the project owner. This can include task records, links, metadata, notes, filenames, timestamps, and internal workflow status. These workflows are used for owner-authorized organization and operations only.
Third-party API data
When third-party APIs are connected, MTechCore processes only the information needed for the specific authorized workflow. Access is limited to the scopes and permissions granted by the account owner.
3. How information is used
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the MTechCore website.
- To respond to contact requests or support messages.
- To run private/internal automation requested by the project owner.
- To organize owner-authorized records, links, tasks, and operational notes.
- To monitor reliability, troubleshoot issues, and prevent abuse.
- To comply with applicable legal, security, or platform requirements.
4. Cookies and analytics
MTechCore does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party behavioral advertising trackers on its public website. Basic server-side logs may still be created by normal web hosting and security systems.
If analytics, cookies, or tracking tools are added later, this policy will be updated to describe what is collected and why.
5. Google API and YouTube API use
Where Google APIs or YouTube API Services are used, MTechCore accesses only the data needed for private/internal automation authorized by the account owner. This may include reading owner-authorized metadata, organizing selected references, or updating internal task-management records.
MTechCore does not download YouTube videos, redistribute YouTube content, sell YouTube data, display advertising based on YouTube data, or provide YouTube data to unrelated third parties.
Use of Google APIs is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
Google account access can be reviewed and revoked at any time from: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
6. Data sharing
MTechCore does not sell personal information. MTechCore does not share private automation data with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.
Information may be processed by limited infrastructure or platform providers necessary to operate the website, deliver email, host systems, secure services, or provide authorized API access. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
7. Data retention
Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for operations, troubleshooting, security, internal record keeping, or compliance. Retention periods may vary by data type. Logs and automation artifacts may be deleted, rotated, or archived when no longer needed.
8. Data deletion, access, and correction
You may contact MTechCore to request access, correction, or deletion of information you provided. Because MTechCore is primarily private/internal, some operational logs or security records may be retained where necessary for legitimate security, troubleshooting, legal, or audit purposes.
9. Security
MTechCore uses a private-first design. Public web content is separated from private operational material. Credentials, access tokens, API keys, and secrets are not intentionally published on the website. Reasonable safeguards are used to protect systems and operational data, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
10. International visitors
If you access MTechCore from outside Kuwait or the hosting location, your information may be processed in the location where the website or supporting infrastructure operates. By using the site, you understand that technical processing may occur across different jurisdictions.
11. Children's privacy
MTechCore is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the website, private automation workflows, integrations, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
